We're happy to bring to you today an amazing new feature: You can now search, sort, filter, and join Minecraft servers right from the Curse Client.
See how many players are online, which players are connected, server ping, or filter servers by region - all from our convenient new Server tab in the Minecraft game section.
To check out this awesome new feature, simply update your current install or download the Client here. You'll be updated to the latest version, and ready to go!
Remember to visit the Minecraft Forums, the official community where you can share, discuss and discover with other Minecraft fans, and upload your creations to Bukkit! The Minecraft Wiki also has all the information you need to survive!
Note: these changes only affect the PC client. For updates on the Mac Client, go to our dedicated Mac Client CurseForge page.
@lWarChicken
I wouldn't personally use it, no. But for some it is useful
Is the server browser actually worth it?
@bigscary
We're actively improving the server browser over time to make discovering servers easier and more efficient.
Everything you listed is coming this year.
Enjoy!
Seems useless for players. It looks like all this list can do is show you which servers have the most players, and what their pings are. Given the extreme variation between servers, I'd want to know MUCH more about the servers in the list before I'd consider it a useful tool for finding a server I like. Is it PvP? Survival or creative? Does it have anti grief? Is it whitelisted? How long has it been available? I guess you can get some of this from the very short title of the server, but I'd want to be able to click through to a server page with more information, similar to PlanetMinecraft. There should also be some voting system so I can ignore the garbage, preferably one that can't be bought with player bribes (no Votifier).
Yes, how are we to ensure our servers end up on this list?
Okay, so it might take a while until they have a page where you can enter your server. I guess I'll wait until that's done and take another look at it once that's finished.

@TeamCobalt
I have the client and my server's not on the list. Does it require to be vanilla + a mod to get shown on that list? Do we have to enter a list? I would like to be there as well :) Tell me how and I'll do :D
How do we get our servers on that list?
